Evidence that every resident is engaged, including those who never leave their room.
Still Me™ turns everyday engagement into CQC evidence. Your staff log each session in a few taps; you get a monthly evidence pack covering Regulations 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 17 and 18, with concerns flagged and followed up.
Grace W.
Severe dementia- Activity
- Familiar music: her 1940s playlist
- Observed
- No words. Eyes opened at the second song and followed my face. Breathing slowed; right hand tapped to the rhythm.
- Response
- Withdrawn → content. Stimulation 2 of 3.
- Next time
- Keep playlist; add hymns her son mentioned.
Your care system records care. It rarely records engagement.
Inspectors want to see that activity is person-centred, that no one is excluded, and that concerns are acted on. For residents who can’t join a group, that evidence is often the thinnest part of the file.
- Residents in their rooms go unrecorded.One-to-one time at the bedside happens, but it doesn’t show up anywhere an inspector will look.
- One coordinator, forty residents.Paper records and spreadsheets eat the time that should go to residents.
- Records show attendance, not outcomes.“Attended music session” says nothing about how the resident responded or what happens next.
- Concerns get noticed, then lost.A change in mood or engagement is mentioned at handover but never followed through on paper.
One platform, built around the resident.
Still Me™ works alongside your existing care planning system. It covers the daily engagement and compliance layer that most systems leave out.
Activity Tracker
Log a session in a few taps: what happened, how the resident responded, mood, and what’s next. Works for group, one-to-one and bedside sessions.
CQC Evidence Pack
A monthly PDF organised by needs level and regulation, with flags, actions taken and audit sign-off ready for inspection.
Engagement flags
Automatic alerts when a resident’s scores drop, sessions are declined, or someone goes too long without a visit.
Family Dashboard
Key worker notes shared with relatives, so families see the moments that matter between visits.
Staff CPD records
Training matched to each needs level, with completion and observed practice sign-off for Regulation 18.
Activities and coaching
Activity packs for every needs level, video demonstrations, and a weekly group call for your coordinators.
From the care plan to the evidence pack.
Set each resident’s needs level
Staff set one of five levels from the care plan, from no cognitive impairment to end of life. The level guides which activities fit.
Log sessions as they happen
Staff record the activity, the resident’s response and what to do next, in the moment rather than at the end of a shift.
Act on what the records show
Flags go to the right person with a named owner and a date, so concerns are followed through.
Review the monthly pack
Sign off the evidence pack and keep it ready for inspection, provider review or family meetings.
What each regulation looks like in your evidence pack.
| Regulation | What Still Me™ evidences |
|---|---|
| Reg 9 Person-centred care | Activities matched to each resident’s needs level, life story and mobility, with every session recorded individually. |
| Reg 10 Dignity and respect | Dignity-preserving adaptations, comfort-focused end-of-life sessions, and a dignity note on every decline. |
| Reg 11 Need for consent | Choice and opt-outs recorded, with preferences reviewed when a resident declines repeatedly. |
| Reg 12 Safe care and treatment | Pain, distress or health changes spotted during sessions passed to nursing staff, with the outcome recorded. |
| Reg 13 Safeguarding | Alerts when a resident is isolated or goes too long without engagement, so no one is left out. |
| Reg 17 Good governance | A flag log with owners and outcomes, actions carried forward month to month, and manager audit sign-off. |
| Reg 18 Staffing | CPD completion and observed practice sign-off for activity and care staff. |

Running a group? We usually start with a pilot across two or three homes.
“Inspired by Christopher. Built for every resident who is still that person inside.”
Built by someone who has run care homes.
Christine Crowle has 35 years in the care sector across the UK, USA and Cyprus, including owning and running care homes, care agencies and training schools. She knows what an inspection feels like from the manager’s chair.
Still Me™ is inspired by her twin brother, Christopher, who spent his final period in care. It exists so that residents who are frail, living with dementia or cared for in bed are still seen, still engaged, and still themselves.
Before you book.
Does it replace our care planning system?
No. Still Me™ works alongside it. Your care system records care tasks; Still Me™ records engagement and outcomes, which is usually the missing piece.
How much time will it take my staff?
Logging a session takes a few taps. It’s designed to reduce admin, because the monthly evidence pack builds itself from what staff record.
Who sets each resident’s needs level?
Your staff, using the resident’s care plan. There are five levels, from no cognitive impairment to end of life or high physical need, and each one guides activity choice and format.
What happens during the onboarding visit?
We set up your home and residents, train your activity and care staff on logging sessions, and agree what your first evidence pack should show.
How is resident data protected?
We provide a Data Processing Agreement, Privacy Policy and Data Protection Impact Assessment for your records. Ask us for copies when you book.
Can families see what their relative has been doing?
Yes, through the Family Dashboard. Key worker notes are shared with families, so they see the moments that matter between visits.
